INTERACT-EUROPE training needs survey
TRAINING NEEDS SURVEY NOW OPEN! Request for YOUR input to the training needs analysis in preparation of the EU’s inter-specialty cancer training programme.
As a consortium member of INTERACT-EUROPE we are delighted to inform you of a training needs survey supporting the creation of the EU’s inter-specialty cancer training programme which is now open for response until Thursday 30 June.
The survey has been developed by the leaders of the INTERACT-EUROPE curriculum work package: the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), the European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) and the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS).
The anonymised survey seeks to answer the question: “What is valuable for trainees to learn in order to work more effectively with different specialties and professions to deliver better care and to provide psychosocial and nutritional support for people affected by cancer?”
The survey asks you to score the value of competency statements drawn from European specialty curricula in achieving the aims stated above. It also contains open questions to study the value of inter-specialty training and the barrier to it.
If you think you have no knowledge regarding a statement, please leave it blank. The anonymised responses will be managed and stored according to GDPR.
Completion and submission of your responses will be regarded as your consent to participate in the survey and provide permission for your responses to be used for the purposes described above.
The survey link is intended for those individuals with close connection to education and training provision. Broad and open sharing of the survey link (e.g. on social media etc) is therefore discouraged. Respondents should set aside at least 45 minutes in order to complete the survey thoroughly.
Results of the survey will be shared at the European Cancer Summit 16-17 November and will directly inform the creation of the curriculum of EU’s inter-specialty cancer training programme.
Posted on behalf of the European Society for Radiation Oncology (ESTRO), the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) and the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS).
