Background

In 2007, a Task force on medical education chaired by Prof Marilene Filbet presented the “Curriculum in Palliative Care for Undergraduate Medical Education - Recommendations of the European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC)”, which was launched at the Budapest Congress. The members of this taskforce, supported by a European advisory group were

The work was undertaken with the contribution of Prof Jose Pereira (CH – now Canada) and Prof Mari-Lloyd Williams (UK) as reviewers. The curriculum has not been updated since this time

To update the EAPC Curriculum in Palliative Care for Undergraduate Medical Education by October 2013.
