Applications for the EAPC Early Researcher Award can still be submitted until the 15 December 2011
Each year this award is given to an emerging researcher who is early on in his or her career. The winner will be invited to give a plenary lecture during the congress.
Early researchers can apply themselves, or be nominated by a supervisor or others.

The following must be evident in applications:
1. A strong documented interest and skills in research in palliative care
2. The candidate should be at the beginning of a research career, and hold a higher degree, PhD or equivalent
3. Evidence of academic development
4. Quality of application – detailed methods of research, relevance to palliative care
5. Environment/research group the candidate has worked within
6. Evidence of publication and presentations of their work at conferences and similar events
7. Evidence of scientific awards, if any
8. Able and willing to give a plenary lecture at the 7th EAPC World Research Congress in English
9. Applicants from all over the world are welcome
